Bluerock Farm

Elvie Lightbody and her brother Gordon, have been involved in growing and selling fruit and vegetables in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale for more than 50 years.

Bluerock Farm is situated in Jarrahdale and was originally owned by the siblings’ father. Bluerock Farm started out life as a market garden but by the 1980’s the fruit trees planted by the family had matured enough for them to turn their attention to the orchard which boasts many heritage and heirloom varieties.

Today Elvie, her husband John and brother Gordon are still working hard to bring their produce to a number of Farmers’ Markets around Perth.
